Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026. This policy explains what information White Mane Group (“WMG,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect. We collect only what you choose to send through our forms:

• Newsletter: your email address.
• Application: your name, email, school, grade, estimated GPA, resume file, selected track or sector, sector-head interest, your written responses, and your commitment confirmation.
• Contact: your name, email, inquiry type, subject, and message.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your information.

Fonts and third parties. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers (this can expose your IP address to Google under their privacy policy). Form submissions are processed by our hosting and forms provider, Netlify, once the site is deployed there; submissions (including uploaded resumes) are stored in the Netlify Forms dashboard and may be forwarded to our Gmail inbox.

How we use it. We use your information only to review applications, respond to messages, and (for the newsletter) to build a list so we can send research updates in the future. We are currently only collecting newsletter addresses; an automated unsubscribe option will be provided if and when we begin sending emails.

Retention. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to be removed. Application materials and resumes for applicants who are not selected are deleted within about 12 months. Contact messages are kept up to about 12 months. We actively review and delete stored submissions.

Who can access it. Applications and resumes are accessible only to White Mane Group executive leadership involved in recruiting. Resume files are downloaded only for application review and deleted on the schedule above.

Your choices. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing whitemanegroup@gmail.com.

Students and minors. WMG is a student organization and our application is intended for high-school students. If you are under 18, please apply with a parent or guardian's awareness. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes. We may update this policy as the group grows. Material changes will be posted on this page.
